Your First Visit
We look forward to meeting you at your first appointment. During your visit, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic care.
Your first visit will consist of an examination, panoramic X-ray, digital images, and a discussion of treatment options, all at no charge. Then, upon evaluation of your diagnostic records, Dr. Joseph Dubin and your treatment coordinator will create a plan which will detail your treatment, goals, financial arrangements, and all of the things we will need to do to create the smile you desire. Dr. Joseph Dubin will also mail a copy of your treatment plan to your dentist. It's our way of keeping our team, your dentist, and you on track during your entire orthodontic experience.
We encourage you to ask questions and we are happy to take the time to answer any and all concerns you may have. As a team, we'll find the perfect way to bring the bright, beautiful smile of your dreams to life!
Regular Appointments
The appointment when you get your "BRACES" or other orthodontic appliance usually takes from one to two hours. You'll then see us at regular intervals, approximately every six weeks, for an adjustment which takes approximately 20 minutes. Our regular office hours are Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our Highland Park office hours are Monday and Friday afternoons with extended evening hours on Monday. Our Monroe area office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons with extended evening hours on Monday.
We take pride in staying on schedule and we are very flexible and accommodating when scheduling appointments. Since some visits are necessary during the early afternoon hours, summer or school holidays provide a great opportunity to start braces without school conflicts.
Costs and payment plans
All costs will be discussed before treatment begins. We have affordable and flexible payment plans. We also accept insurance assignment and will file the necessary papers with the insurance company. Together we make a healthy beautiful smile affordable for everyone. For your convenience, we welcome VISA and MASTERCARD.
Insurance
Dubin Orthodontics is a participating provider for the following insurance companies:

If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay (please see above). Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not the insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to you, the patient, and you, as the patient, are responsible to the doctor. We will, however, assist in every way that we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
